The 5 Sections of BSP
- KID Scouting (Kabataang Iminumulat-Diwa or Children to be Introduced to Virtues) is for boys 4 to 5 years of age.
- KAB Scouting (Kabataang Alay sa Bayan or Children Offered to the Nation) is for boys 6 to 10 years of age.
- Boy Scouting is for boys 10 to 12 years of age.
- Senior Scouting is for boys and girls 13 to 17 years of age.
- Rover Scouting is for young men and women 16 to 24 years of age.
Last September 1, 2010, my group mates and I experienced a very fantastic getaway none of us would ever forget. All together, we got the chance to tour around the place which the people of Laguna call "The Boy Scout of the Philippines". Unfortunately, due to some instances (i.e lack of time, no tour guide, and unaccommodating driver) we didn't get the chance to fully discover the wonders that the place could offer. Nevertheless, we all know that the place is very popular among the Boys/Girl Scouts for their camping activities.
On the other hand, we also observed that the environment is very clean and well taken care of by the people of Laguna. I salute them because they can maintain the cleanliness and the beauty of their place even if a lot of people, students, boy scout, girl scout visits here. Everything here is just so wonderful especially for first-timers like us. In fact, we were able to feel like real "Girl Scouts" even for a short period of time. It is also known to its mission which to imbue in the youth the love of GOD, country and fellow men. Also, to train young people to become responsible leaders and to contribute in nation-building. Though we were able to get this feeling of satisfaction and happiness, we felt disappointed because we weren't able to get a lot of photos since our camera crashed down. Five photos were the ones left for us to keep, very few but the memories of it in our hearts will stay forever.
Another Place/Tourist Spot in the Philippines that we should be proud of.
This is one such Place that Los Baños Laguna showed their greatness by developing its tourist destinations.
We should be proud that We are Filipinos, We lived in the Philippines and We have lots and lots of great places here :)
We suggest that you should try visiting the place to see/feel what we have experienced.
