Wood Carvings

Laguna, Philippines.

One of the products that Laguna are really proud of is the wood carving. People in Laguna are very good in making some statues and other products made from woods.It seems that their hobby or past time is to create beautiful statues using woods. Even I'm not a fan of statues of Jesus christ, Mother Mary and other biblical characters, i still salute those people who are doing wood carving because it's really takes time, patient and artistic to make one statue.They just used chisel for woodcarving and that is very diffecult

Laguna is also known as the “Wood Carving Capital of the Philippines.” It only shows that people in Laguna are really talented in making wood carving. I think this talent will make Laguna one of the most talented town not only in the Philippines but all over the world. They can sell their masterpiece in the phlippines and can probably export their beautiful masterpiece around the world. chisel…obviously tool used for woodcarving of course,
