MISSION:
To develop artistically gifted and talented students by implementing a special secondary education curriculum and support programs committed to the conservation and promotion of the Filipino artistic and cultural traditions.
I believe that this school would enhance the talents of every students. When we went here, sadly to say, it was closed but I saw in the window, that it is the room for ballet. The school requires that a student must be good in 4 fields of art and excel in one.
The school is open for ballet majors, visual artists, musicians, theatre artists, folk dancers, creative writing major and a lot more. If you are willing to experience and create art in the charmed mountain of Makiling well, go enroll here at Philippine High School for the Arts.
With that, I consider this place close to my heart since I have a heart for ballet. In fact, I started taking ballet classes since I was in the third grade. From then on, I became active and very participative to my school's dancing activities. through ballet, I also got the chance to explore and develop my dancing skills to the fullest. Seven years have passed and until now my love for ballet never vanish. I will forever be grateful for the opportunities I got and experienced. One of the most memorable is being able to get a scholarship to Liza Macuja's ballet workshop. So having been in this place for a while brings back all my great memories at the same time.
I look forward to get a chance to be able to study here as well. :)
